Wintergreen essential oil has a strong fresh, cool, minty and slightly sweet aroma. Many use wintergreen for its powerful pain reducing properties. It is an excellent oil used in massages to help relieve mild pain and swelling and specially helpful for those with pain from lupus, arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Wintergreen's cooling and pain soothing properties make it ideal for use in sports massage, or post workout massage to soothe muscle or joint pain/soreness and reduce swelling. Wintergreen supports the muscular, skeletal and respiratory systems.
The refreshing aroma of Wintergreen is stimulating and invigorating to the senses. It helps soothe mental tension, stimulates physical activity and promotes mental clarity. Diffuse a few drops in your diffuser or add 1-2 drops to a personal inhaler to enjoy its stimulating effects.
Wintergreen is best used in small quantities and a little goes a long way. It is best used diluted in a carrier oil and for short term use. See safety section for max dilution recommendation.

Max dilution rate for skin use:
2% or 10-12 drops per 1 oz (30ml or 2 tbsp) of carrier oil.
