Dilution Blending Chart

Dilution Blending Chart

Blending dilution guide

This chart is intended to guide you with blending essential oils in a base or carrier oil according to the percentage dilution you want to use to make your own blends.

Use this dilution guide to make soaps, candles, massage blends, rollerball blends, salves, lotions, face masks, bath bombs, room sprays and all your favorite diy skin products.

Included in the chart are the equivalent measurements for ounces, milliliters and teaspoons to make it easier for you to use according to your recipe specs.

To make your own blends, decide the amount of carrier oil or base you want to use and the dilution % according to your needs. For example, if you decide to make a small batch of a blend at a 3% dilution, start with 5ml, which is equal to 1/6 oz or 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and then add your 3 drops of essential oil.
