Clove Bud Essential Oil

Clove bud essential oil has an aromatic sweetness with rich and warm notes similar to vanilla with spicy notes. The aroma of clove oil is reminiscent of quiet strength, a presence of humility and inner strength.

Our Clove oil is CO2 extracted from the buds of the clove tree. The CO2 extraction process produces a rich and more bull bodied oil than the steam distilled version. It CO2 produces an oil with a rich dark brown color. The process of CO2 extraction produces a Clove essential oil with the highest orac value for its antioxidant activity.

Clove oil has a long history of use in dental applications for oral rinses, relieving toothaches and has mild numbing properties.Organic Clove essential oil is renowned for its powerful and broad antimicrobial and antiseptic properties fighting and inhibiting the bacteria growth.. Clove oil is great in the diffuser or in a massage blend to help flu like symptoms. Add 2-3 drops of clove to 1 oz of carrier oil like Jojoba oil and massage on the insides of feet, chest or back.
In traditional Chinese medicine, clove oil is a tonic for the chi and provides warmth to those suffering conditions from cold weather.

Safety

Avoid during pregnancy. Always dilute before applying on skin. May cause skin irritation on sensitive skin if used undiluted. If skin irritation occurs, apply a nice coat of carrier oil such as coconut or jojoba oil on skin. Do not use for children under 12.
