Here are 2 easy and effective recipes to make your own hand sanitizers at home with simple ingredients and powerful essential oils to keep you and your family safe.
Hand Sanitizing Gel
Ingredients
½ oz of Aloe vera gel - food grade is best.
½ oz of rubbing alcohol or vodka
1oz PET plastic bottle with cap
Essential Oils
4 drops of Lemon
4 drops Tea tree
2 drops Lavender
2 drops Mandarin
Directions
- Pour aloe vera gel and vodka or alcohol in plastic bottle
- Add your essential oils to the bottle
- Add cap to bottle and shake well to mix contents
- Enjoy!!
Hand Sanitizing Spray
Ingredients
1 oz of distilled water or witch hazel
1 oz of rubbing alcohol or vodka
2oz plastic bottle with sprayer
Essential Oils
4 drops of Lemon
4 drops Protekt (a blend of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, rosemary, orange)
2 drops Lavender
Directions
- Pour water/witch hazel and vodka or alcohol in plastic bottle
- Add your essential oils to the bottle
- Add sprayer to bottle and shake really well to mix contents
- Spray and enjoy!!
